SUMMER CAMPS 2026

SMALL GROUP/ HALF DAY/ AGES 5-10

June 15-18: Drawing

Students explore a range of themes, (still life, landscape and portrait) utilizing a range of materials (pencil, marker, oil pastel). Students are introduced to composition and perspective. Students will draw from observation and imagination, keeping a sketchbook throughout the week.

June 29-July 2: Painting

Students are introduced to color mixing and paint application, while exploring still life, portrait and landscape. Watercolor pencils, crayons and paints, as well as acrylics will be used. Various surfaces will be used to paint on as well.

July 20-23: Beach Week

Students use a range of recycled materials to create 3D paper mache sea animals (fish/ sea turtles/dolphins) and their habitats. Watercolor seascape paintings, and self-portraits at the beach are also part of this fun week.

August 3- 5: 3D

Students explore balance and color through a variety of materials, utilizing wood, cardboard and recycled materials. Mobiles, free standing sculptures, and assemblage-inspired by Louise Nevelson, will be created.
